Krack Slaw
Notes
- Borrow from Kenji's chicken cabbage bake
- make with shredded cabbage and ground meat in the wok.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground chicken/turkey
- ~200 g bacon - chopped
- 1 onion - sliced
- 1 lb cabbage shredded
- 2 Tbsp Dijon
- 1 cup chicken stock - maybe less
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- fresh thyme
- 2 Tbsp butter
Mise en place
Preparation
- Heat oil in wok
- add ground meat
- cook until nice and browned
- remove from wok and retain some fat
- add onions and cook until soft
- add bacon and cook until browned
- add add mustard, thyme, sugar and cook for a few minutes
- add cabbage and cook until soft
- season
- add stock if it looks like it needs moisture
- add meat back
- serve
